I am thrilled and honored to be endorsed by Cotey Wynn. His service to our community as a violence interrupter has been invaluable. As a third generation Ward 5 resident, he is making multi-generational and far-reaching contributions to the community where he grew up and beyond. He has literally saved and positively impacted the lives of countless young people. I am grateful for our ongoing, mutually-supportive relationship.
In partnership,
Faith Gibson Hubbard
I met Faith when she was the Chief Student Advocate, working on safe passage for students. There was a lot of violence in the ward and she wanted to figure out what was going on and how to stop it. She and her husband hosted a Townhall at their home about a feud that was happening across two communities. It was a wonderful conversation. Every time there is a shooting, she will call me, no matter what time of the day or night and ask what’s going on. I could tell back then that she had a passion for our communities and especially for the young people, and she still does. She has a vision for the youth, to see that they have what they need to succeed in life, whether it is a good education, recreation activities, after school programs, or tutoring.
I know for sure that she is the right person for the Ward 5 seat. She knows a lot about our communities. She is passionate about keeping our city safe. I support her 100% to be our councilmember.
