Commissioner Brannum has been a fixture of Ward 5 community advocacy and Washington politics for decades. He is a third generation Washingtonian, a 40-year resident of Ward 5 in Bloomingdale; He has served two terms as ANC5E08 Commissioner, and one term as ANC5C04; He is the former president of the Bloomingdale Civic Association, Former Vice President of the Ward Five Council on Education, and he has many other leadership roles over decades of service.
